  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the whole-wheat flour, baking powder, and salt. Then add sugar and mix everything well.
  • Add the cold butter cubes to the dry ingredients. Mix the butter into the flour using your hands until the mixture is crumbly.

  • Use your hands or a rolling pin to form the dough into a disc shape (roughly about 2 cm in thickness).
