Saffron Turmeric Latte

Make this vibrant, creamy and comforting turmeric latte easily at home with a few simple ingredients and benefit from the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of turmeric.

Ingredients

  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp ground ginger
  • a pinch of ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • a few strands of saffron

Instructions

    1. Add turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, ground black pepper, sugar, pure vanilla extract, and water to a tall glass. Use a milk frother to blend all the ingredients to form a creamy and foamy mix.
    2. Place a saucepan on medium heat, add milk, and heat it up. Add a few saffron strands, stir, and bring it to a boil.
    3. Strain the milk using a strainer in a jar.
    4. Divide the turmeric mix into two glasses and pour the milk into the mix.
    5. Stir, serve hot, and enjoy!
