How To Make Nut Butter

So now you don’t have to buy separate jars of nut butter flavors. In short, this saves money and tastes even better than the store-bought version. This recipe calls for two nuts – almonds and walnuts.
Just follow two simple steps – roast and blend.
Roast the raw nuts until they are slightly golden brown or fragrant.
Blend all the ingredients in a food processor or high-speed blender until creamy and smooth. You can have it chunky if you don’t prefer smooth and runny butter.

Ingredients
1 cup raw walnuts
1 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup rolled oats
2 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 Tbsp flax seeds
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 Tbsp honey
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions
- Take a frying pan and roast raw walnuts and raw almonds for 10-12 minutes on low heat, or until fragrant and slightly golden brown.
- Let the roasted nuts cool down for about 5 minutes until they’re just warm.
- Transfer the nuts and the rest of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Let the nut butter cool to room temperature and thicken before transferring it to a mason jar or bowl. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
